Two Row Wampum Festival

August 3, 2013: 11:00AM to 5:00PM
Riverfront Park, Beacon, NY map

The Two Row Wampum Festival celebrates the Two Row Wampum Treaty signed 400 years ago by the Iroquois and the new European settlers. The treaty was based on the ideals of friendship, peace, living in parallel, and living in harmony with Mother Earth. Join Riverkeeper at this historic event as we welcome the Two Row flotilla to Beacon on their journey from Albany to the United Nations in New York City. Enjoy Native American music, authentic craft, storytelling, food, and history at this great festival.
