Volunteer Opportunity: Tree Planting in New Hampton

Join the Orange County Soil and Water Conservation District, and the Hudson River Estuary Trees for Tribs Program to help plant 250 trees and shrubs along Monhagen Brook this spring. Holes will be pre-dug, and trees will be small, making at a great opportunity for families with small children.
After the tree planting a BBQ lunch will be provided for all volunteers. Please come prepared for the weather. For more information, contact the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation’s Trees for Tribs Program, or the Orange County Soil and Water Conservation District.
