Documenting pharmaceuticals and other “micropollutants”

Riverkeeper, Cornell University and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation today gathered at the Rondout Creek waterfront in Kingston to discuss the findings of the first broad Hudson River survey of micrpollutants, like pharmaceuticals, personal care products and pesticides. Cornell University scientist Damian Helbling conducted the research, with Riverkeeper’s support, and funding from DEC.
