As the Policy and Planning Manager, Chrissy is a specialist in developing policy solutions and leading planning initiatives that build social ecological resilience throughout the watershed. Her work focuses on developing innovative policy solutions, planning resources, and restoration projects for the estuary and communities impacted and shaped by the Hudson River.
Chrissy received an M.S. in Environmental Policy from The New School, and a Masters of Natural Resource Stewardship Degree from Colorado State University. Early career experiences working on program management for nonprofits like the Student Conservation Association (SCA), as well as two years in Togo as a Peace Corps Natural Resource Management Volunteer, help to shape the social ecological approach she applies to her work.
