Doug Greene

Doug Greene is a cybersecurity expert and the Senior Vice President / Chief Information Security Officer at Guardian Life, a Fortune 250 insurance and financial services company. In this role he leads Guardian’s information security and IT risk/control functions, engaging across the organization to implement effective and efficient solutions to protect data and systems, mitigate risk, and ensure compliance to policies and regulations. Prior to joining Guardian Life, he held leadership roles with PriceWaterhouseCoopers and Reuters, implementing technology solutions as well as designing appropriate risk mitigation strategies. He has over 20 years of experience in the cybersecurity field.

Doug has presented in various conferences and forums, including RSA, FS-ISAC, and NYC/Accenture FinTech. He is a member of Evanta CISO Governing Body, the FS-ISAC CISO Congress, and various other organizations. He holds a B.S. from Cornell University School of Engineering.

Doug is also an avid outdoorsperson who enjoys kayaking, sailing, skiing and hiking, as well as trail work at Irvington O’Hare Nature Center and Taxter Preserve.
