Young Advocates Council

Young Advocates Council watershed hike

The mission of Riverkeeper’s Young Advocates Council is to support Riverkeeper as a network of young professionals raising awareness and providing on the ground support and informed advocacy. Members of the Young Advocates Council strive to be well-informed advocates, and act as super ambassadors and expand awareness of Riverkeeper’s work. The council achieves these goals by:

  • organizing and hosting specific events;
  • attending Riverkeeper events;
  • making an annual financial contribution;
  • achieving individual membership and sponsorship targets; and
  • getting involved in Riverkeeper’s policy and programmatic issues.

Young Advocates Council Members act as ambassadors for the organization, spreading the word about Riverkeeper’s work and events to friends, family and colleagues.
