Rosalind Becker

Rosalind Becker is a Program Manager with Cities of Service. In this role she provides individualized consulting support to city governments for climate resilience. Prior to her work with Cities of Service, Rosalind served as Program Officer for environmental conservation at the Leona M. and Harry B. Helmsley Charitable Trust. In that role, she developed and executed grant making strategies and managed the grant portfolios for conservation in Myanmar and the Gulf of California Region of Mexico. Rosalind holds a Master of Science from Fordham University where she studied changing patterns of biodiversity in New York City area forests. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in environmental science from Colby College in Waterville, ME.

Rosalind comes to Riverkeeper via San Francisco Baykeeper, were she served as Field Coordinator, leading volunteer programs, coordinating scientific monitoring, and advocating for protective environmental policies. Rosalind lives in Brooklyn with her husband.
