Clearwater will continue celebrating Earth Week 2016 by spending our second cleanup day in Beacon, NY the home town of our late founder Pete Seeger. Volunteers will meet in Pete and Toshi Seeger (Riverfront) Park to clean up litter. We need volunteers to help us prior to the event to spread the word as well as throughout the day in various ways.

On the day of the event volunteers will be needed to sign people in, pick litter, sort trash and recyclables and record all collection data. Volunteers will be required to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the event for assignments and to complete waivers.

Please be sure to wear sturdy shoes, layers of clothing that you are willing to get dirty, sunscreen, water and a hat. We will not provide refreshments so feel free to bring a light snack if you think you will need one.

If you have any questions please contact our Volunteer Coordinator Shameika at [email protected]
