Esme joined Riverkeeper in October 2025, bringing with her a background in geology and environmental consulting. Her professional journey began with a BA in Geology from Pitzer College and has taken her from the rivers and trails of Colorado, where she served as a park ranger, to the construction sites of New York City, managing the remediation of contaminated sites. A lifelong love of swimming and exploring waterways has shaped her commitment to conservation.
