Prior to joining Riverkeeper in 2025, Michael held senior fundraising roles at nonprofit organizations in several sectors – international humanitarian response, academia and arts and culture – and successfully established and expanded partnerships that unlocked millions of dollars for sustainable impact. He has a BA in Anthropology, MS in Strategic Fundraising and Philanthropy, MA in Communication and a certificate in Systems Thinking.
