Sarah Davidson
Sarah Davidson is a Managing Director and Head of the Strategy and Communications team for NY Green Bank, New York's $1 billion clean energy investment fund, where she oversees the organization’s communications. strategic planning and impact work, while providing investment, portfolio management, and operations support.
Prior to NY Green Bank, Ms. Davidson served in the Executive Chamber as a special assistant to Richard Kauffman, Chairman of Energy and Finance for the State of New York. She supported the Chairman in developing and implementing a strategic plan to scale up clean energy, enhance New York’s competitiveness for clean energy business, and make the State’s energy systems more resilient and reliable.
Ms. Davidson had previously consulted for AGRION, a global network for energy and sustainability professionals along with the Carbon War Room, an international nonprofit working to accelerate the adoption of business solutions that reduce emissions at gigaton scale and advance a low-carbon economy. Prior to these roles, Ms. Davidson served as a Vice President at the Coalition for Green Capital, a Green Bank-focused advocacy group in Washington, DC, supporting tax and finance policies to expand investment opportunities in clean energy generation and energy efficiency.
Ms. Davidson holds a bachelor's degree in Political Science from Colorado College and a Master of Business Administration degree from Columbia University. She lives in Red Hook, NY, with her husband Spencer and their three children - Alice, Olivia and Huxley.
