The marinas and boat clubs on Rondout Creek have hauled out their floating docks to protect them from ice. Boats are all hauled out. Another season over.
The dam at Eddyville. One of these years winter ice may knock it down and re-open much more of the Rondout for herring spawning – the way it was before. The herring could really use it.
