Become a Member
By choosing to become a sustaining member, you provide Riverkeeper with a reliable stream of funding to underwrite our work. This dedicated group of Riverkeeper members provide dependable gifts we rely on, especially in leaner months. Monthly donations support all of the programs you love, from water quality sampling and the annual Riverkeeper Sweep to our boat patrol, legal actions, and habitat restoration work. It’s simple to give each month by credit card or direct debit from your bank account. Questions? Contact Linde Ostro at 914-478-4501 x229.
Give Monthly
Honor a friend or family member, or their memory, with a gift in their name. Honorary and memorial donations are lasting and meaningful alternatives to gifts or flowers. Many choose such a gift to recognize a friend or family member’s love of the Hudson River.
You can also ask for gifts to Riverkeeper in lieu of birthday, wedding or anniversary presents. Email Linde Ostro at [email protected] to set up a custom donation form that you can share with your friends and family.
Gift in honor or memory of someone
Show that special someone you care about them and the environment by giving a Riverkeeper gift membership. You can also ask for gifts to Riverkeeper in lieu of birthday, wedding or anniversary presents.

Donating stock helps you save significantly on two types of taxes, making a big difference for Riverkeeper’s mission at a lower cost for you. Riverkeeper accepts gifts of appreciated stock, which are sold upon receipt to support our work and programs.
