85,000 miles in and still going strong
May 15, 2026
Our boats, the Bob Boyle and the R. Ian Fletcher, are stalwarts of the Hudson (the Fletcher has traveled more than 85,000 nautical miles on the river!), and annual maintenance is critical to keep them ship shape.
Riverkeeper’s boat program is key to our mission, helping enforce environmental protections and supporting campaigns for clean water, habitat restoration, and climate resilience across the Hudson and New York Harbor.
