Make your voice heard in the redevelopment of the Brooklyn Marine Terminal
November 7, 2025
Riverkeeper and our partners in Red Hook are concerned about the scale of the project’s proposed in-water construction — including plans to rebuild and expand piers over several acres of open water — and the potential harm to aquatic habitat, water quality, and shoreline resiliency.
The public is encouraged to provide input on the plan. Join us at an in-person meeting on Monday, December 1 at 6:00 pm at Sacred Hearts - St. Stephen Church (125 Summit Street, Brooklyn, NY 11231). You can also submit written comments through December 11 via email to espokowski@moec.nyc.gov, or by mail to: Mayor’s Office of Environmental Coordination, Attn: Emily Spokowski, Senior Project Manager, 100 Gold Street, 2nd Floor New York, New York 10038.
