Spotted during our last patrol along the East River and Flushing Bay: An Osprey beats the traffic in Queens.

As our patrol boat captain John Lipscomb says: When we see wildlife like this in NYC, “it’s really a hopeful sign, and it’s a message from the natural world, saying, ‘We’re waiting. You do the right thing, and we’ll come back.”
