Slowly but surely the public is reconnecting with the Hudson River here. This Saturday morning, southbound from Troy to Kingston, I saw a “River Day Festival” in Troy in their new waterfront park, recreational rowers on the reach between Albany and Troy and a marathon in the Corning Preserve along the west bank in Albany. More and more people wanting to be on or next to the River.

Also spotted along the shore: Wind turbine components on the dock in the Port of Albany waiting for an outbound ship.
