Riverkeeper’s statement regarding development of the former Glenwood power station

Riverkeeper supports the environmentally sensitive adaptive reuse of the former Glenwood power station in Yonkers, but we cannot support the project currently under consideration unless a viable parking solution that satisfies community and environmental concerns can be found.

After learning of the issues associated with the project’s current parking proposal, Riverkeeper requested that the Lela Goren Group remove Riverkeeper’s name and logo from its materials and not refer to us as being in support of the project, unless and until the parking issue can be resolved.
