Sarah Street retired from the finance industry in 2018, pivoting from Insurance Tech to Fitness Tech. She is currently applying her expertise to the fitness & sport technology sector as well as helping a number of mission-based organizations. Sarah characterizes herself as an active, nature-loving, adventure-seeking world traveler and fitness enthusiast who is energized by new challenges and experiences—whether summiting Mt. Kilimanjaro, sailing 9,500 miles across open waters in a yacht race, or diving with whale sharks in Galapagos. She is also an avid photographer and particularly enjoys capturing wildlife in their natural habitats.
She started her career with JP Morgan Chase, moving through roles of increasing responsibility in risk management. For ten years she led the Hedge Funds Investment banking team,. She moved to XL Catlin, an S&P 500 global insurance company, in 2001 and in 2007 was promoted to the Chief Investment Officer role, managing a $45 billion investment portfolio. She retired as the EVP for Strategy and Innovation Initiatives, a role where she helped drive both strategy development and strategy implementation.
Sarah is from the UK and graduated from Oxford University with an MA in Geography.
