Riverkeeper Team
Riverkeeper Boat Captain, John Lipscomb, speaks with the F.A.O. Schwarz Family Foundation Fellows, and the Foundation's Exective Director, Priscilla Cohen.
This past Saturday the F.A.O. Schwarz Family Foundation's Executive Director, Priscilla Cohen, and their current cohort of Fellows hopped aboard Riverkeeper's Patrol Boat to see our water quality program in action. The visiting fellows represented organizations including Strong Women, Strong Girls; Playworks; Generation Citizen; The Philadelphia Food Trust; The City of Philadelphia Mural Arts Program; Breakthrough New York, and Row New York. The group also included Riverkeeper's own fellow, Jen Benson.
In the words of Riverkeeper's Boat Captain, John Lipscomb, "I don't think we've ever had so many people aboard who are all doing good for society and the environment in some way." Riverkeeper looks forward to collaborating with these other organizations and hosting the Fellows again in the Spring of 2017.
