You helped make a difference in 2014, and you can do it again. Your support helped achieve a fracking ban in New York, a record shoreline cleanup effort, pollution enforcement from NYC to Albany, and more.
Please take these steps to promote safe drinking water and a cleaner, healthier Hudson River in 2015. Can you imagine if everyone did?

Your emails, phone calls and presence at events make the difference in our campaigns. Visit our Action Center regularly to find out how you can help. Right now, we need your help to protect the Hudson River from the risks of an oil spill catastrophe. Your voice can make the difference.

I Resolve to Volunteer
In 2014, volunteers dedicated 11,000 hours to support Riverkeeper. Over 1,900 volunteers removed 31 tons of trash from the Hudson during our 3rd annual Riverkeeper Sweep. To learn about leading a cleanup during the 4th annual Riverkeeper Sweep on Saturday, May 9, please send an email to [email protected]. Interested in becoming an ongoing volunteer with us? Sign up for one of our upcoming Ambassador workshops or take our volunteer survey.

Riverkeeper often learns about pollution in the watersheds of the Hudson River or New York City’s upstate reservoirs from citizen watchdogs like you, who send photos noting the date, time, location and conditions. Refer to the watchdog information on your membership card, or jot this down and carry it with you: [email protected] and 1-800-21-RIVER ext 235.

I Resolve to Lessen My Own Impact
You help protect the Hudson River and our drinking water supply by empowering Riverkeeper to stop polluters. You can also help keep water clean by changing habits at home. Check our website for simple tips on reducing water pollution, conserving water and conserving energy. You can also help us spread the word about initiatives to reduce plastic pollution in our local communities.
