Avalon Bunge
Avalon is a farmer and food justice advocate in Columbia County, New York. Before starting her farm, she spent three years as a climate change educator on Long Island Sound, and loves getting people of all ages interested and invested in their local environments. She is a native of Ithaca, NY, and holds a BA in Geology from Colgate University and an MS in Ecosystem Restoration from SUNY-ESF. After a day in the field, you can find her hiking, paddling or picnicking by the river with her husband and very friendly dog.
