John Koblinsky

 

John Koblinsky is a marketing research consultant with MetLife, where he has worked for the past three years. He previously led research projects at Harris Interactive and Edge Research, including projects such as: developing new mobile phones; enhancing software usability; analyzing retirement needs of Americans, and testing messages to communicate the dangers of climate change. John has an MBA from Johns Hopkins Carey Business School and a B.S. in Business from the University of Mary Washington.

John grew up in Bethesda, MD where his interest in healthy rivers came from participating in river clean-ups along the Potomac with his father, an oceanographer and climate scientist. John joined Riverkeeper in 2011 as a volunteer and ambassador to express his passion for clean water. He lives in New York City and is an avid cyclist, skier and adventure-seeker.
