Katherine Harris

Katherine Harris is a recent graduate of The New School’s Studley Graduate Program in International Affairs (SGPIA), where she focused on international development and oriented her coursework towards the environmental concerns that are adding extra stress to global development and shifting our traditional Western perspectives of how countries can/should develop. Her final research portfolio examined both the health risks and the realistic socio-economic costs of fracking in the United States, winning her the 2020 SGPIA award for Outstanding Research Portfolio. Prior to returning to graduate school, she received her Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Colorado College. She currently resides in Brooklyn with her husband and way too many house plants. In her free time Katherine enjoys traveling, hiking, cooking, reading, and eating a slice of Paulie Gee’s pizza in Greenpoint’s Transmitter Park.
