Samuel Man, Policy Advisor, NYC Mayor’s Office of Sustainability

Samuel serves the City of New York as a policy advisor in the Mayor’s Office of Sustainability. In this role, he works on programs, policies, and partnerships that help reduce citywide greenhouse gas emissions and advance the city’s climate goal of carbon neutrality by 2050. Sam is a native New Yorker, a Harlemite, and a former US Marine. Favorite pastimes include cycling along the Hudson River and photographing landscapes. Sam holds a BA in Urban Planning from the State University of New York at Albany and a MS in Sustainability from the City College of New York.
