Clearwater will be working with the newly formed Kingston Sloop Club to clean up Hasbrouck Park in Kingston. Volunteers will meet at the park to start and work around the area to clear any litter that may be in and around the park. We will need volunteers to help us prior to the event to spread the word as well as throughout the day in various ways.

On the day of the event volunteers will be needed to sign people in, pick litter, sort trash and recyclables and record all collection data. Volunteers will be required to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the event for assignments and to complete waivers.

Please be sure to wear sturdy shoes, layers of clothing that you are willing to get dirty, sunscreen, water and a hat. Bring a light snack if you think you will need one.

If you have any questions please contact Clearwater’s Volunteer Coordinator Shameika at [email protected]
