Riverkeeper will present a talk on water quality in the Hudson River, focusing on the Capital District and plans to make the water safe for swimming in the coming years.

The talk is hosted by L.L. Bean, a sponsor of the 2014 Riverkeeper Sweep. The public is encouraged to attend.

Dan Shapley, Riverkeeper’s Water Quality Program Manager, will present data from Riverkeeper’s Hudson River water quality study, which is available at riverkeeper.org/water-quality, as well as plans for cleaning up the waters through the $136 million 15-year plan announced by New York State in January 2014.
