Riverkeeper Annual Membership Meeting

Riverkeeper members are invited to the Annual Meeting of Members of Riverkeeper, Inc. Riverkeeper membership is open to all persons over the age of 18 who are interested in advancing the purposes of the organization and contribute a minimum of $1 to Riverkeeper on an annual basis. New York Not-For-Profit Corporation Law Section 605 requires public notice of all membership meetings.

Active members have been notified of the meeting by email and/or U.S. mail. Members unable to attend the meeting are asked to elect directors by proxy. Members wishing to attend must RSVP to Sara Lupson by email at [email protected].

2. Annual Financial Report
3. Election of Directors of the Board

At the meeting, the members will elect directors to serve on the Board of Riverkeeper. The by-laws authorize a thirty-five member Board of Directors to be responsible for the control and operation of Riverkeeper. The members will by plurality elect the directors in their respective classes. Each director so elected will serve until the expiration of such director’s respective term and until the earliest election or appointment and qualification, of such director’s successor, or such director’s death, resignation, or removal.

This RSVP is for the purpose of determining the number of people who will attend the meeting. Riverkeeper will attempt to accommodate as many people as possible. However, admittance will be limited to the seating available.
