Riverkeeper will be among the organizations discussing volunteer opportunities at the 3rd Annual Newburgh Volunteer Fair on I Love My Park Day, Saturday, May 4, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Come learn about the Riverkeeper Sweep, citizen science water quality monitoring on Hudson River tributaries, representing Riverkeeper at outreach events, helping with office work or donating professinoal services, and many other volunteer opportunities.

There also will be free tours of the Hasbrouck House, used by General and Mrs. Washington, during the Revolutionary War. The free tours are made possible by sponsors, including Safe Harbors of the Hudson, Newburgh Free Library, Palisades Interstate Parks Commisson, Palisades Parks Conservancy and Friends of the State Historic Sites of the Hudson Highlands.

The event is free and open to the public. In the event of rain, the event will take place at Safe Harbors of the Hudson, 111 Broadway, Newburgh, NY (map).
