Help give kids a fantastic Harbor Camp experience!
Volunteers needed to provide kids from Stanley M. Isaacs Neighborhood Center (East Harlem) and McKinley Community Center/Southeast Bronx Neighborhood Center with fun, safe, free, and educational kayaking at Gantry Plaza State Park in Long Island City!

Please email [email protected] with the subject “HarborLAB Harbor Camp Day” to join the fun for all or part of the day! Indicate if you can help on August 10 or 15, and if you can help with the whole 9am-430pm day or just part. Please share this event with friends who might help.

Volunteers are needed to handle waivers, share boats with nervous newbies, patrol for safety, work the dock, and more.

Program runs from 11AM-3PM, so we need people in shifts or for the whole event from set up to pack away (9AM-430PM).

Harbor Camp is coordinated through a partnership with Waterfront Alliance.
