Riverkeeper is recruiting a regular staff of volunteers to help us with monthly follow-up calls to members after we send them mail pieces. This is a new program and volunteer opportunity which will take place on a regular monthly basis, usually every third week, and be extremely helpful to Riverkeeper in keeping our costs low while increasing our financial support.
This may be done remotely and on your own time at your house, on the road or wherever you please within about one week after we send out the mailing. You’ll be given a list of about 10-15 confidential names and contact information. If you would like to call from our office in Tarrytown, that is also an option.
Please email Heartie Look at: hlook@riverkeeper.org to volunteer or call (914) 478 4501 ext. 252 with any questions.
Thank you for your time and energy in support of Riverkeeper!
Help Riverkeeper cut back on the amount of fuel and energy consumed by processing our mailings through an external company assisting us with mailings done from “in house.” On occasion, Riverkeeper requests the help of your hands in producing small scale mailings from our office in Tarrytown, NY. For the majority of projects, it will require all or part of one day and you will work on a team of 2- 5 people. This will keep our eco-footprint low and production level high!
If interested or with questions, please email Heartie Look at: hlook@riverkeeper.org to volunteer or call (914) 478 4501 ext. 252 with any questions.
Thank you for your time and energy in support of Riverkeeper!
