Defend the Hudson:
Eric is an independent graphic designer, web developer, and itinerant writer based in the Rivertowns, New York. By luck, and later by design, he has never strayed far from rivers, bays, and estuaries. Along the northeastern edge of Long Island Sound, he earned a BA in philosophy and an MFA in graphic design from Connecticut College and Yale University, respectively. In New York and fleetingly, in San Francisco, he worked as a designer for Studio Archetype, Sapient, and IDEO, and regularly found ways to commute river to river (or bay to breakers) on his bicycle. Today he is a consulting designer and snowboarding enthusiast who keeps an eye on the Hudson and the Tappan Zee Bridge from his home studio.
