As the Save A Million Bass Assistant, Siddharth coordinates digital outreach aimed at recreational striped bass fishers in the northeast with the goal of reducing catch and release mortality.

Additionally, Sid works at Bronx River Alliance as the Greenway Coordinator, an urban planning advocacy role focused on buildingĀ out parks, trails, and ecologicalĀ restoration projects along the entirety of the 23-mile Bronx River – New York City’s only freshwater river. He also serves in an advisory role to the NYC Department of Transportation, driving forward greenway planning efforts city-wide.

Prior to his roles at Riverkeeper/Save A Million Bass and Bronx River Alliance, Sid worked in a variety of disciplines at the SUNY Research Foundation, The Nature Conservancy, and Save the Sound. Sid holds a BS in Aquatic Conservation Biology from the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry and will be pursuing an MA in Climate Change and Global Sustainability through the School for International Training beginning in August 2024.
