About this location:

This location is used for kayaking events and environmental education. It is the future home of a boathouse, identified as a site for improved water access in the East River Blueway Plan and funded by a local council member. The upland area is managed by Solar 1. There are two small combined sewer overflow outfalls, to either side of the beach. Site Coordinator: Kaitlyn Parkins. Site Sponsor: Lower East Side Ecology Center. These samples are processed by The River Project.
